John Lewis is a Principal Engineering Manager for Test and Training Instrumentation (TTI) at Rockwell Collins. He is responsible for the development and deployment of the Common Range Integrated Instrumentation System as well as Tactical Combat Training System Increment II. TTI provides live, virtual, and constructive test and training solutions to the defense industry. In his prior role, Mr. Lewis led the engineering team that developed the F-35 Helmet Mounted Display System. He has worked on a variety of rotary wing and fixed wing military platforms including the role of Chief Engineer for the CH-53K Avionics Management System. He has been awarded several honors including the Rockwell Collins 2015 Chairman’s Team Award, 2013 Engineer of the Year Finalist, and 2012 Engineer of the Year Semifinalist. Mr. Lewis holds a Masters of Systems Engineering from Iowa State University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Bradley University.
