Matthew J. Carrico


Matt Carrico  has worked in aerospace for 35 years. He began his career as an electrical engineer working on communication satellites. He moved into aviation electronics and has spent most of his career working as an avionics systems engineer on commercial aircraft ranging from twin-engine turboprops through air transport category aircraft and where he has worked on flight controls, communication, navigation, surveillance, and head down and head up display systems. His current focus is flight deck systems for business, regional and air transport commercial aircraft. In 2003 he received Rockwell Collins’ Engineer of the Year award. In 2014 he was named to the company’s inaugural class of Fellows. Education:  MSEE, 1984, University of Notre Dame, AB, Engineering and Applied Science, Harvard University
